A two-car crash in Hialeah left at least nine people injured early Sunday morning. The cars collided at East 8th Avenue and Okeechobee Road, officials said. "They were struck broadside it looks like and the vehicle rolled over. We're unsure, but apparently from what they're telling us, none of them were wearing seatbelts," said District Chief Stephen Leroux. Five rescue crews were on scene treating the inuries. Three victims were rushed to Ryder Trauma Center and the rest were taken to area hospitals where they are recovering.

Ten people were hospitalized after a small bus collided with an SUV in Hialeah Tuesday morning.

The crash happened around 9:30 a.m. on West Okeechobee Road at 19th Street when a Chevy Blazer collided with the Jitney-type bus, officials said.

One person was taken to Ryder Trauma Center for upgraded injuries, Hialeah Fire Department officials said. The rest were taken to nearby hospitals for abrasions and lacerations.

Hialeah Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
