Indianapolis Metro Police say they are looking for two people who ran from the scene of a crash that killed a baby that was in the car.
The crash happened at 11 p.m. Tuesday.
Investigators say two vehicles were eastbound on 38th Street near I-65 when one vehicle struck the other from behind.
Police say the rear vehicle ended up in a ditch and the two occupants took off running from the scene.
Overnight, police dogs and a helicopter were used to try and find the pair, but so far nothing has turned up.

Some frightening moments after a car crashed through the railing of a bridge on the city west side early Thursday morning.
At 4:48 a.m. police were called to West 16th Street over the White River bridge near Lafayette Road. The eastbound car left the roadway and crashed through a section of bridge railing.
With the car teetering over the edge of the bridge, several IMPD officers sat on the trunk of the car while rescue crews pulled the woman driver from the car.
A woman was taken to the hospital after flipping her SUV on Interstate 465.
The crash happened around 11:30 p.m. Saturday night on the north entrance ramp off 56th Street and Shadeland Avenue.
Police say the woman lost control of her SUV and crashed into a concrete barrier. Her SUV flipped onto its top.
An officer who was the first to arrive at the scene had to cut the woman’s seat belt to get her out.
She was taken to the hospital in fair condition.
Police say they gave her a BAC test. Results were not immediately released.

The driver of an SUV died following a crash with a semi early Thursday morning.
The crash happened shortly before 3:30 a.m. on westbound Interstate 70 near Emerson Avenue. Witnesses say the SUV veered from the center lane into the path of the semi.
The semi struck the SUV and both vehicles ended up blocking the high speed lane.
Emergency crews were able to free the SUV driver in 15 minutes. He was taken to Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital in critical condition, but later died.
Police officials say two people were critically hurt in a crash in downtown Indianapolis Thursday night.
The crash occurred around 7 p.m. at the intersection of Ohio and Capitol.
Emergency crews at the scene say two cars were involved in the crash, a Cadillac and a Kia Sorento. Officials say two people inside of the Cadillac were taken to Eskanazi hospital in critical condition. Their conditions have since been upgraded to stable.
Officials confirm the people inside that vehicle are state representative David Niezgodski of South Bend and his 23-year-old daughter.
