A 17-year-old boy was likely listening to music while he was walking along the train tracks in Jefferson near U.S. 11 and Cobb Street on Thursday morning. The engineer of an approaching train says he blew the whistle many times, but the teenager made no indication that he knew the train was coming. The boy was struck, and pronounced dead. While no headphones were found at the scene, investigators say that the boy's phone was still playing music when it was discovered.
