The Wisconsin State Patrol said one person died early Monday morning after a tire from a car crashed into the windshield of a car, killing the passenger yet not injuring the driver. The tire had come off a vehicle traveling eastbound when it went through the windshield and struck a passenger in the car. The driver of the car lost control and slid into the concrete barrier on the right shoulder of the interstate. The victim was Mark Bolan from Lombard, IL. The driver, Victor Gauger, 56, was not injured in the crash.

The bicyclist was in a bike lane and had a green light when a 38-year-old Madison man turned his Jeep and struck the cyclist. The man driving the Jeep didn’t have the right of way. The bicyclist went onto the roof of the Jeep and shattered the windshield.

After Larson drove away after rear-ending the couple, the Albany man used his phone to get a picture of Larson’s SUV. According to police, the cell phone image helped officers find Larson’s home, where he was arrested on suspicion of seventh-offense OWI. Larson was also cited for hit-and-run.

The woman’s husband and two sons, who were riding in the car with her, were not seriously injured, nor were the two people in the pickup that was also involved. Hana's passenger, a 33-year-old Jefferson woman, was taken to a hospital and treated for minor injuries. Hana was arrested.

Police said two people are dead after a fatal wreck on Madison's north side Friday night. The Madison Police Department said officers are investigating a crash that occurred on the 4400 block of Barby Lane. Officers arrived at the scene at about 11:30 p.m. and found that a car headed north on Barby Lane hit a parked, unoccupied vehicle. The car continued north, hit the curb and left the road, striking a tree. Police said one person died at the scene and a second person was taken to the hospital but later died from injuries suffered in the crash.

Madison police said a 24-year-old Madison man is in critical condition after a two-vehicle crash on Madison’s north side Thursday morning.

According to a release, the crash happened in the 1300 block of Northport Drive around 10:15 a.m.

The driver of the other vehicle, a 51-year-old Madison woman, was also transported to a hospital.

The crash is still under investigation.

A 14-year-old Madison boy was sent to the hospital after he was struck by a car Wednesday morning.

Police said the boy pedaled through a red light at the intersection of Wingra Drive and South Park Street shortly after 8 a.m.

The boy is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

A Madison boy was taken to a hospital Sunday night after being struck by a car while he was riding his bike. Madison police said the boy is believed to be 7-years-old and was struck when he pedaled out of a driveway and into the 1500 block of Trailsway. The boy’s injuries appear to be non-life-threatening. The car that struck the boy is described as a white Nissan.

Blinding snow is suspected of contributing to a multi-vehicle crash on southbound State Highway 151 in Dane County Thursday morning that injured two people, the sheriff's office said.

The crash involved three separate, simultaneous collisions, according to a report.
