Minneapolis-St. Paul, MNFaye McCarty, 54, has been pronounced dead at the scene subsequently a crash in Richmond, Wisconsin, Friday evening. According to St. Croix County Sheriff’s Office, the vehicle was heading south on County Road A when McCarty failed to navigate a curve. The 1998 Chevrolet Lumina veered off the roadway and into a ditch, slamming into a tree. The car went in flames with her still inside. First responders were not able to rescue McCarty, who was the only occupant of the vehicle, due to the fire.
