Jacksonville, FLSt. Augustine police are investigating a two-car crash on State Road 312 Saturday afternoon that left one person dead and another seriously injured.
Investigators say officers responded to a crash on the east side of the State Road 312 bridge over the Intra-coastal Waterway at 5:07 p.m. Police say a driver was driving west toward the bridge when he and lost control of the vehicle and crossed the median, hitting an eastbound vehicle.

Jacksonville, FLA 63-year-old C woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 95 Thursday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
State troopers said Anita Perenta was driving northbound in the middle lane at mile marker 325 about 6:50 a.m.
Troopers said for unknown reasons, Perenta swerved right, then spun onto the grass shoulder. Her car's left side struck two trees.
Perenta was taken to UF Health Jacksonville, where she died.
Troopers said Perenta was wearing a seat belt.
