Around 1:20 p.m., a woman was attempting to take a left turn and pulled into the path of a truck driven by Raymond Burnett. Burnett's truck hit the car on the driver's side, and the impact of the collision forced the car into the enterance of Cleve Edmund’s Bar-B-Que. The woman, identified as 62-year-old Hilda Yvonne Choice, 62, was pronounced dead at the scene. She was considered at fault due to failure to yield right of way. The accident is still under investigation.

A Sebastopol man died after a collision Thursday morning is identified as Andrew Watt, 39. He was killed after rear-ending another vehicle and crashing into a retaining wall around 8:30 a.m. on Fitzgerald Drive. Witnesses at the scene said the driver may have suffered a medical event at the time of the collision. The driver of the other vehicle was not injured.

At about 5:20pm, a crash involving a CHP officer on a motorcycle, a minivan, and an unknown third vehicle was reported. The officer fell from his vehicle and sustained serious, but not life-threatening injuries, requiring traffic to be stopped so that a helicopter could airlift him to a hospital.
