A car crash in south Fulton County injured four people, including James Messer, a Union County police officer. The accident took place Monday morning on South Fulton Parkway at Cascade Palmetto Highway. Multiple vehicles were involved in the wreck, including a marked police SUV. A bright sky during morning rush hour may have been one of the causes leading to the accident. Officer Messer and the three others were taken to Grady Memorial Hospital for treatment. A K9, “Pluto,” was in the vehicle with the officer and was taken to a nearby veterinarian.
