Four people, including two children, died a traffic accident east of Janesville Saturday, when an 18-year-old driver failed to stop at a stop sign, according to the Rock County Sheriff's Department. As the northbound 2009 Honda driven by Talia S. Enciso of Sharon entered the intersection without yielding the right away, it was struck by an eastbound truck. Enciso and her three passengers all died, the department said in a statement. The others killed in the wreck were Alvino Ortiz, 43, and two children, ages seven and 14.

Milwaukee police have arrested a 24-year-old Milwaukee man suspected of driving the rental truck that crashed into a mother holding her 18-month-old girl, killing the toddler, a police spokesman said Friday. The man has not yet been named.

Cheyenne Jackson, 21, and her 18-month-old daughter, Ariana Matosek, were in a crosswalk at S. 6th and W. Hayes streets, heading west, shortly before 4:20 p.m. Wednesday when the truck hit them. Jackson was taken to the hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening.

Authorities in Sheboygan County are investigating a fatal crash.

It happened around 2:07 on Friday near County Road LS and Rowe Road in the town of Mosel.

William Oakley, 18, of Sheboygan, was killed.

The driver, Steven McGrew, 18, was taken to Aurora Medical Center in Sheboygan by Orange Cross Ambulance. The front-seat passenger, 17-year-old Guy Kosolek, of Sheboygan, was taken to Theda Clark by Flight for Life.

A head-on crash Thursday afternoon on Highway 120 in Lyons killed a Lake Geneva man and injured two others, according to a statement from the Walworth County Sheriff's Office. At around 4 p.m. Jeffrey Peiffer, 52, of Lake Geneva, was driving south on Highway 120 north of Prairie Road when he crossed the center line and struck a car driven by Wolfgang Schubert, 69, of Wauconda, Ill., with one passenger, Rosalina Deinlein, 40, of Morton Grove, Ill. The crash shut down the highway for hours.

All lanes of eastbound I-894 at S. 92nd St. have reopened after being closed for a little more than an hour due to a vehicle fire Wednesday morning.

The state Department of Transportation said a crash occurred about 9:45 a.m., resulting in the fire.

The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office is investigating.

A spin-out accident involving several vehicles has slowed down Interstate 94 northbound near Grange Avenue.
Driving conditions are dangerous to to falling snow and some ice on the roadway.

Several vehicles were spun out, blocking all lanes of the Interstate.

One man is dead after a car accident in the Town of Merton. The Waukehsa County Sheriff's office says the driver was headed southbound on Center Oak Road when he failed to make a turn at Dobbertin Road and struck a tree just after 2 o’clock Friday morning. A male passenger died. The driver has been arrested for driving while under the influence.

A Manitowoc man suspected in a fatal road rage incident has been banned from driving and having any contact with the survivors of the crash. The orders are conditions of bail, which Shawn Lischka posted late Wednesday night and was released from the Manitowoc County Jail. Nineteen-year-old Eric Neuman of Two Rivers died Tuesday night when the pickup he was driving crashed into a guardrail and crashed. Neuman was thrown from the truck. Three others in his vehicle survived. Authorities have accused the 22-year-old Lischka of side-swiping Neuman's truck in a road rage incident.
