New Orleans, LAAuthorities say an irate Chalmette man pepper sprayed another driver and hit him with a baseball bat during a road rage confrontation in Old Metairie. Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office investigators aren't sure what happened to set off Gary Bergeron, 33.
It began with some sort of traffic encounter between Bergeron and the victim, an unidentified 49-year-old man, on Interstate 10 in New Orleans around noon on Wednesday (Dec. 4), according to Glen T. Boyd, spokesman for the Sheriff's Office.

Tracy Robinson, 31, was struck and remained hospitalized at Einstein Hospital Thursday morning.

Milwaukee, WIA Manitowoc man suspected in a fatal road rage incident has been banned from driving and having any contact with the survivors of the crash.
The orders are conditions of bail, which Shawn Lischka posted late Wednesday night and was released from the Manitowoc County Jail.
Nineteen-year-old Eric Neuman of Two Rivers died Tuesday night when the pickup he was driving crashed into a guardrail and crashed. Neuman was thrown from the truck. Three others in his vehicle survived.
Authorities have accused the 22-year-old Lischka of side-swiping Neuman's truck in a road rage incident.
