A Burbank woman died Friday after a three-car crash on Ohio 42 in Lafayette Township. The crash occured at 3:43 p.m. after the driver of a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee tried to pass another vehicle while driving southbound. The Jeep struck a 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan, then crashed head-on into a 2000 Chevrolet Lumina. A passenger in the Chevrolet, 21-year-old Tara Green, died as a result of injuries suffered in the crash. She and the Chevrolet's driver, a 40-year-old Medina woman, were airlifted to MetroHealth Medical Center to be treated. Green later died at the hospital.

Two people are dead and two others are injured after an accident near the Ross County, Pike County line. Troopers were called to U.S. 23 near Woods Hollow Road on the report of a crash at about 10:40 a.m. Sunday. Troopers said two pick-up trucks were involved and two people died in the crash. Two other people, including Penny Sowards, were injured in the crash, both sustaining life-threatening injuries. U.S. 23 is closed in both directions in the area while Troopers investigate the crash and crews work to clean the scene.

According to authorities, Jack Moore, of Ashland, Kentucky, was driving south on Route 31 when his box truck collided with a semi-trailer truck driving north by Theodore Yocum of Lewistown, Ohio. All three involved were taken to the hospital, where Moore later died.

Stephens, of Plymouth, was flown to Toledo St. Vincent's Hospital. The driver of the dump truck, Johnny Seitz, 48, of Galion, was transported to Galion Community Hospital with minor injuries.

Cox lost control of her SUV and struck a school bus in North Columbus on Monday morning. There were no students on the bus when the Jeep crashed into it, and the bus driver was not seriously injured. The Jeep driver was unresponsive and was taken to the hospital, where she later passed away. It was later learned that Cox was a long-time Columbus school district administrator. The accident is under investigation.

Angela Yeager was driving southbound on Norton Road when she lost control, crossed the centerline and collided head-on with another vehicle. The other vehicle was driven by Erin Lytal, who suffered serious injuries. Yeager suffered minor injuries, and had been under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident. Lytal is currently in physical therapy to recover from injries sustained in the accident.

A 61-year-old woman was killed Friday after a head-on crash at the intersection of Northridge and Sadie Thomas roads. Pamela L. Graham, of Granville, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a release from the Granville Post of the Ohio Highway Patrol.

The Marion post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a crash that killed one person Friday afternoon. According to the highway patrol, the crash occurred shortly after 12:30 p.m. Friday along state Route 309 near state Route 746 in Marion County. Investigators say that 68-year-old Gayle Callahan, 68, of Crestline was traveling west on S.R. 309 when she drove left of center, striking a tractor-trailer head-on. Callahan was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the truck was not injured.

Three people killed last night in a crash in Union County included a 2-year-old and a 17-year-old Dublin high school student. The Union County sheriff’s office identified the dead as Joshua Fraley, 30, and Easton Fraley, 2, both of Mechanicsburg, and Olivia Aicher, 17, of Dublin. Three others who were not identified, including a child, were injured in the crash and taken to separate hospitals.
