A car carrying five teenagers struck a concrete barrier at high-speed after missing a curve on the Exit 19 off ramp on I-95. Vanessa Hoodith, a backseat passenger, died after the crash and Rajiv Sardjoe died the next morning. The three other people were hospitalized in unknown condition. Check back for updates.

Stephen J. Maikisch III was driving his car at a high rate of speed at around 5:38 a.m. on Route 17 when he exited at Exit 90, went through a t-intersection and left the roadway.The vehicle traveled for about 200 feet before landing upright in the Delaware River. Maikisch was found dead in the car. The incident is still under investigation.

It was about 5:30 a.m. when 32-year-old Christopher Daughtry was speeding northbound on Route 22, and he accidentally departed the roadway while trying to avoid another car. His car entered a driveway and damaged a call box, parked car, and tree, before rolling multiple times. He was hospitalized with some head and neck injuries and will be cited for speeding.

On March 6th 2015 at 11:06 PM, the New York State Police responded to a report of an accident on the eastbound Northern State Parkway east of exit 30, in the Town of Hempstead.  A Chevrolet Malibu and a BMW were both traveling eastbound when they collided.  This resulted in the Chevrolet exiting the roadway, striking the center median and entering the westbound lanes, before coming to rest on its roof.  Both occupants of the Chevrolet sustained minor injuries and were transported to North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset.  The operator of the BMW simultaneously lost control of his vehicl

Jennifer Gao and Jason Leung were riding together in a car on the Long Island Expressway when their car flew off the road and ran into a tree. The car was believed to be going more than 90 mph at the time of the crash. Both were pronounced dead once authorities arrived. The car was totaled.

It was before 9:00pm when Moreau was driving on Clark Road in northeastern Saratoga County and lost control of the vehicle, possibly due to excessive speed and/ or worn-out tires, and plowed through a guardrail before striking several trees. Both Moreau and his passenger Otruba were removed from the truck, but were pronounced dead at the scene. Investigation to determine the cause of the accident continues.
