Los Angeles, CAA mother, later identified as Marleni Edith Barrera, 42, who was struck by a driver as she walked her daughter to school in Hollywood has died, according to police.
The family members were in a crosswalk Tuesday morning when they were struck by the driver at the intersection of Fountain Avenue and Bronson Avenue near Joseph Le Conte Middle School. The mother was pronounced dead late Tuesday morning.
