50-year-old Sheldon L. Plant, of Maine, caused a serious crash on Interstate 70 in Wayne County, Indiana Friday morning. The accident occured on October 24 when Plant, who was arguing with his wife, allegedly drank alcohol and crashed into the eastbound median, then attempted to drive away with cables hooked to the truck. The 700 feet of cable stretched across the highway behind the truck and caused the semi to jacknife, blocking traffic for two hours. Plant, whose blood alcohol level was double the legal limit, was arrested for OWI endangerment.
