At about 3:30 a.m. Saturday, 31-year-old Thomas Turtle of Kansa, Oklahoma was driving a pickup north on State Highway 10 in Cherokee County. He was about a mile north of U.S. 62 when the pickup departed the roadway and rolled over. Turtle was wearing a seat belt, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
