Phoenix, AZA 16-year-old boy was driving west on I-40 in Flagstaff when he for some reason drove off of the roadway, where the vehicle rolled multiple times. The teenaged driver was thrown from the vehicle and pronounced dead, while a 56-year-old woman who was a passenger was trapped in the vehicle and was transported to the hospital with serious injuries after being extricated. Investigation continues to determine the cause of this accident.

Phoenix, AZMonica Soto was a passenger with two other people in a westbound car on Maryland Avenue about 11:30 p.m. Sunday when the car veered into oncoming traffic, onto a curb, and into a park at 47th Avenue, where it struck concrete barriers. Soto was kiled, and the other two occupants were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
