Los Angeles, CAMotorcyclist Nicholas Dopkewas westbound on Del Mar Boulevard about 1:30 p.m. Sunday when he collided with a vehicle turning east from Meridith Avenue. Dopke was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office.

Riverside, CAAccording to the California Highway Patrol, Daniel Lopez Jr. was one of six people in a pickup that was pulling out of a private driveway onto Simpson Road east of Patterson Avenue at the same time that Michael Vargas was driving down Simpson Road in a 2012 Suzuki GSXR. Witnesses say Vargas was driving at speeds exceeding 100 mph.

Saturday, April 25, 2015Police were called to Harney Lane and Crown Place before 1:30 Saturday afternoon, where they found a motorcycle rider dead at the scene. The rider has been identified as 18-year-old Jered Robert Senecal. No other vehicles appear to have been involved in the accident, and it appears that Senecal may have struck a stone Madison Place sign, as it showed some damage.

Saturday, February 14, 2015One man was killed in a motorcycle accident Saturday afternoon in near Fort Ross, California. Anthony Cruz, 44, was riding his motorcycle north with a group of riders on Highway 1 when an oncoming car veered into their lane. The group met in Mill Valley, setting out on a 140-mile ride up the coast, ending in Healdsburg. Cruz and two other motorcyclists were struck. Robert Rodgers, 55, was riding a Ducati and was struck in the leg. Phillip Telesforo, 54, was struck head-on riding his Yamaha. They were airlifted to Santa Roasa Memorial Hospital.
