Indianapolis, INA car and a minivan collided on Southeastern Parkway at around 7 p.m., hospitalizing all seven occupants of the van. The van contained six children and one adult, and all sustained injuries that were desribed as serious. One of the children was thrown from the vehicle during the crash. No one in the car was hospitalized. The road was closed for several hours while the investigation took place. The driver of the van, Carter Lynn James, 21, faces two felony counts of operating a vehicle while intoxicated causing serious bodily injury and one count of operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Indianapolis, INAn Anderson woman was injured Wednesday morning after a snowmobile she was on crashed. Police say the driver was drunk.
Indiana conservation officers responded to the 20400 block of Creek Road in Noblesville for a crash around midnight Wednesday. Upon investigation, police say Joel Hackleman, 42, of Noblesville, was driving the snowmobile and drove into a ditch. Hackleman was ejected. His passenger, Rebecca Benson, 32, was over the handlebars of the vehicle.
Benson was taken to St. Vincent Hospital for a serious leg injury.
