Portland-Auburn, MEA Moultonborough teen suffered serious injuries in a snowmobile accident in Pittsburg on Thursday afternoon.
Fish and Game officials said Tyler Demond, 19, was a passenger on the sled when it went off the road, throwing the driver and Demond from the machine. Demond was thrown into a tree.
Officials said his injuries were not life threatening. They also said inexperience was a factor in the crash.

Boston, MAPolice in Pittsfield, N.H., say four high school students in a pickup truck have been injured after the vehicle collided with a plow truck.
Police stated that it appears the plow truck was backing out into the road Friday when the accident happened.
One of the teens had to be pried form the pickup. All four were taken to Concord Hospital, but police said the injuries did not appear to be serious.
The plow truck driver was not injured.
Police said they’re still investigating the crash.
