It was about 5:30 a.m. when 32-year-old Christopher Daughtry was speeding northbound on Route 22, and he accidentally departed the roadway while trying to avoid another car. His car entered a driveway and damaged a call box, parked car, and tree, before rolling multiple times. He was hospitalized with some head and neck injuries and will be cited for speeding.

On March 6th 2015 at 11:06 PM, the New York State Police responded to a report of an accident on the eastbound Northern State Parkway east of exit 30, in the Town of Hempstead.  A Chevrolet Malibu and a BMW were both traveling eastbound when they collided.  This resulted in the Chevrolet exiting the roadway, striking the center median and entering the westbound lanes, before coming to rest on its roof.  Both occupants of the Chevrolet sustained minor injuries and were transported to North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset.  The operator of the BMW simultaneously lost control of his vehicl

Evelina Voyku, of Stockbridge, was driving south on Cole Street around 8:20 a.m. when she lost control of the 2003 Honda Pilot she was driving on a curve just south of Morris Road, police said. The vehicle rolled over until it hit a tree and came to stop. Her passengers were her younger siblings, ages 12, 11, 9, 7 and 6. They were transported to Saint Elizabeth's Hospital in Utica. An 11-year-old female wasn't wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle, and she is in serious condition.

Both the car containing the Melfi family and Izzo's car were traveling eastbound, with Izzo quickly approaching from behind at a high-speed. As Izzo attempted to pass the Melfi's, he ended up striking their car and causing both vehicles to overturn. All victims were taken to the hospital, though all injuries were reported to minor.
