Two vehicles collide at the intersection of Huger Street and Taylor Street around 1pm Friday. The traffic light at the intersection was taken out during the accident, causing traffic to move slowly in the area. Two people involved in the collision were transported to the hospital. One driver has suffered broken bones while the condition of the other person is currently unknown. One of the driver's has been cited for running a red light and driving under suspension.

Emergency responders lifted an 18-wheeler that collapsed onto a SUV after a crash Sunday around 6p.m.. The accident happened in Albertville, the truck and SUV collided by a gas station on northbound Highway 75 close to Martling Road. The driver of the truck and a passenger in the SUV were brought to Marshall Medical Center in non-life-threatening condition.

At about 4:15 p.m. Sunday on route 50 near Route 45, 58-year-old David Krebs was driving a 1967 MG when he changed lanes and lost control of his vehicle and hit a trooper's cruiser. Krebs car veered onto the shoulder, smashed into a concrete barrier and then collided into the rear of a stopped police cruiser's car at a traffic stop. The trooper, Krebs and a passenger in Krebs’ car, 39-year-old Tiffany Kelsey, were brought to Shock Trauma in Baltimore, where the trooper was later released.
