Charges are pending against Scott Stettler after he struck two Lebanon County homes while fleeing police. After crashing through the wall of a home, Stettler was transported to Penn State Hershey Medical Center for treatment of his injuries.
Two other passengers in Bennett's car we injured, Darius Zook, 23, of Rexmont and Kumar Persaud, 18, of Lebanon. Both were transported to hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Five people from Myerstown were injured in the other vehicle, a 2008 Jeep Liberty. They were identified as driver David P. Arnold, 28, and his passengers as Amarilys Nadal, 34; Marissa Nadal, age unknown, Christian Nadal, age unknown; and Alaina Arnold, 6.
Vancor was found dead at the scene, but no other vehicles were involved in the crash. The truck also left liquid asphalt leaking onto the road, which caused further complications and traffic issues.
The pedestrian said the driver was about 40 years old with short blonde hair. The vehicle was an orange 1980s model Chevrolet or Ford truck. Damage from the accident to the passenger door should be visible. Anyone with information is asked to call Manheim Township police at 717-569-6401.
14-year-old Zachary Paroline of East Randolph died Tuesday after a pedestrian crash outside of his home off of Route 14. Paroline had gotten out of a vehicle pulled up next to his family's mailbox off of Route 14 to get the mail.
The victim was a 27 year old woman, but her identity has not yet been released. Following the crash, Police said the Oregon 34 closure could last some time while officer investigate the single-vehicle crash and conduct a reconstruction. Motorists should expect delays. More details to come.
A Kentucky State Police trooper is recuperating after he was struck by a motorist during a traffic stop on Interstate 65. Sam Shacklette was taken to University Of Louisville Hospital with non-life threatening injuries Saturday night. No one else was hurt.
Cumberland County Coroner Charley Hall has identified the individual involved in this morning’s auto accident in the 700 block of Hogestown Road in Mechanicsburg. Coroner Hall said Randall D McNatt, 58, was pronounced dead at the scene and it appeared that he may have suffered a medical event prior to losing control of his vehicle and impacting a tree. An autopsy is scheduled for Monday, Aug 18th.

The cross-country trip he took on his new Harley-Davidson Sportster during the last few weeks was all he had talked about for months, his mother, Jane Stellfox, 67, said yesterday.
He rode the motorcycle thousands of miles from his Philadelphia home to see sights in New Mexico, Texas, Colorado and throughout the Midwest, chronicling his trip in photos he posted on his Instagram page.
Northern York County Regional police were still investigating the circumstances of a fatal motorcycle crash in Manchester Township reported earlier this week.
Police were called to the intersection of Susquehanna Trail and Locust Lane at 6:51 p.m. Sunday where they found 57-year-old Gary Strausbaugh Jr., of York Haven, suffering for serious injuries after being thrown from his motorcycle, according to a department press release. Strausbaugh was rushed to the York Hospital where he was pronounced dead a few days later, at 10:05 a.m. Tuesday, police said.
