An 49-year-old pedestrian was struck and seriously injured by a car while crossing Route 66 on Tuesday night, police said.

The accident, near the town hall on High Street, was reported 7:40 p.m.

The pedestrian, identified as Sylvia Pulino, was taken by ambulance to Middlesex Hospital. A hospital spokeswoman said there is no record of Pulino as a patient.

The driver, 18-year-old John Arcidiacono, did not appear to be injured.

One person critically injured, transported to hospital, after a SUV and a car, driven by Brian Browder, 32, who was charged with failure to yield, collide on Virginia Beach Boulevard in Virginia Beach.

A two-vehicle crash sent one person to the hospital in critical condition Sunday afternoon, according to police.

MPO James Cason with the Virginia Beach Police Department said the crash happened just before 3:30 p.m. in the 4400 block of Virginia Beach Boulevard. A Toyota 4Runner was traveling eastbound when it was struck by a Pontiac Grand Am and rolled several times.

The driver of the Toyota was extricated and transported to a local hospital.

Bicyclist injured, transported to hospital, after they are struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Parham Road and Brook Road in northern Henrico County.

A bicyclist was injured this morning in a collision with a vehicle in northern Henrico County. The Henrico police said the bicyclist was taken to VCU Medical Center, where an update was not immediately available. The collision occurred at 5:30 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of Parham Road at the Brook Road intersection.

46-year-old woman pedestrian injured, transported to hospital, after she is struck by a car, driven by a 41-year-old man, who was cited, at the intersection of Richneck Road and Denbigh Boulevard in Newport News.

A 46-year-old Newport News woman was rushed to a local hospital Wednesday morning after being hit by a vehicle in the Denbigh section of the city.

Police were dispatched at about 6:55 a.m. to the intersection of Richneck Road and Denbigh Boulevard where they found the woman lying in the roadway, a Newport News Police Department spokeswoman said in an email. The woman had no visible signs of injury, but told police she had abdominal pain, police said.

Javier D. Ferrer, 25, Jose A. Lopez-Velasquez, 26, Julio C. Gonzalez-Hernandez, 61, killed, Saul A. Gonzalez-Hernandez, 65, critically injured, taken to hospital, after their car collides with a tractor-trailer on State Route 155 near New Kent.

Four Chesterfield men involved in the fatal traffic accident on Route 155 in New Kent County Tuesday afternoon have been identified.

Julio C. Gonzalez-Hernandez, 61, Javier D. Ferrer, 25, and Jose A. Lopez-Velasquez, 26, were all killed in the accident. The car's driver, Saul A. Gonzalez-Hernandez, 65, brother of Julio C. Gonzalez-Hernandez, remains in critical condition, according to an email from a spokesperson for the Virginia State Police (VSP).

Virginia State Trooper M.W. Deus, 31-year-old female driver, her 10-year-old and 9-year-old daughters, injured, transported to hospital, after a police cruiser, in pursuit of a vehicle, collides with a minivan in Richmond.

Virginia State Police are investigating a collision between a trooper’s cruiser and a minivan that occurred as the officer was pursuing another vehicle.

A State police spokeswoman says Trooper M.W. Deus, the minivan’s 31-year-old female driver and her 10-year-old and 9-year-old daughters suffered non-life threatening injuries. They were taken to VCU Medical Center for treatment.

The woman’s 1-year-old son wasn’t injured.

Jennifer Renfro, 31, killed, after her car leaves the Rochambeau Drive roadway near Williamsburg at a high rate of speed, and crashes into a tree.

A 31-year-old woman was killed when she lost control of her vehicle early Tuesday morning.

The Virginia State Police said troopers were notified of a crash on Rochambeau Drive north of Mooretown Road around 12:30 a.m.

An investigation revealed a 2001 Honda Accord driven by Jennifer Renfro of Lanexa was traveling at a high rate of speed and lost control. The vehicle ran off the roadway and hit a tree.

A man seriously injured in a DUI crash on the Eastern Shore on Saturday has died.

Lenwood Bowen and Melissa Johnson were riding in a 2003 Lexus on Route 695 on Saturday evening when it was struck by a Ford Mustang that crossed into oncoming traffic.

Bowen died from his injuries Sunday. Johnson was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.

Corlas Dorel Dennis, 52, killed, after his motorcycle is struck by a SUV, driven by Freddie Ray Fair Sr. 81, that failed to yield the right of way, on State Route 13 in Temperancville.

One person was killed in a motorcycle crash Saturday afternoon on the Eastern Shore.

A spokesperson with the Virginia State Police said the accident happened around 2:50 p.m. in Temperancville.

Anaya said a motorcycle was headed south on Route 13 when a Chevrolet Suburban came onto the roadway from Saxis Road, into the path of the motorcycle. 52-year-old Corlas Dorel Dennis was thrown off the motorcycle and suffered major injuries.

Darla Ann Alexander, killed, after her car rear-ends a tractor-trailer, driven by John Chase Jr. while stopped near the Monitor Merrimac Memorial Bridge Tunnel near Norfolk.

A woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash that occurred shortly before 11 a.m. south of the inspection station on the Monitor Merrimac Memorial Bridge Tunnel Thursday. The accident happened near the College Drive exit, a Virginia State Police spokeswoman said in an email.
