Did the chase take him out of jurisdiction?

I knew this person and he was a good kid, very polite, lots of friends, never in trouble. In all kind of sports in school, loved hunting and the Army. I ask the same question, why did he not stop? Such an unnecessary death, such a stupid decision he made. So, so sad, I can't stop crying; can't imagine how his family is taking it.

There was only one office chasing him at the time of the wreck, and he was out of jurisdiction.

Why was he involved in a high speed chase trying to get away from police? Never a good idea...Pull over and take the ticket...how is the victim not to blame?

Why did police arrive at the scene to determine he hit a concrete pole?? There were 8 Dothan Police chasing him; thus resulting in him crashing into a pole.
