Verloish Woods, 50, was killed when the 2004 Kia she was driving left the roadway and overturned around 6:15 p.m. approximately six miles north of Selma.

A Plantersville woman was killed Wednesday in a single-vehicle crash on Dallas County Road 39. Verloish Woods died when the vehicle she was driving left the roadway and overturned. Two passengers in Woods' vehicle suffered serious injuries. No seatbelts were being used at the time of the crash.
