One person was killed and two others critically injured after a head-on crash involving three vehicles in Phoenix on Tuesday morning. The crash closed Indian School Road near North 61st Drive about 8:15 a.m., according to police. The driver of a brown older-model Buick LeSabre crossed the center line and collided with a silver 2000 Hyundai and a Subaru Outback, Phoenix Police Sgt. Trent Crump said. Three people were taken to hospitals with life-threatening injuries, including the driver of the Buick. That person died at a hospital, Crump said. A fourth person was treated and released at the scene, said a Phoenix Fire Department spokesman. Police did not say which vehicles the other injured people were in.
