Wilson County Sheriff officials have identified the victim in the deadly ultralight aircraft crash as David "Bucky" Carter, of Nashville.

Emergency crews were called around 10:45 a.m. to the scene, Saturday morning.

They found the aircraft in the 300 block of Edwards Road, which is right off of Salem Road.

According to officials, the victim was an experienced pilot.

Kentucky State Police are investigating an accident near Lebanon, Kentucky which left one woman dead Sunday morning.

Police say 62-year-old Ann Mattingly was traveling east on KY 84 when she lost control of her vehicle just before 10 a.m.

They say Mattingly dropped off the shoulder, over-corrected, leaving the roadway striking a tree.

Mattingly was pronounced dead on the scene.

There were no other injuries reported.

The two people found dead in a running car in Lebanon on Monday were killed by carbon monoxide poisoning, according to state police.

Brittany Holland, 25, of Hebron, and Casey Senechal, 26, of Lebanon, were found in a running car at Smith Road and Route 207 just before 9 a.m. Monday, state police said.

Police said someone passing by found the car with its engine on, saw two people inside who appeared to be in distress and notified state police.

Two tractor-trailers collide and one catches fire on I-71 northbound in Warren County. Minor injuries reported.

Northbound Interstate 71 is closed between Lebanon and Jeffersonville because of a crash near the 38-mile marker.

Two tractor trailers crashed near Wilimington Road just before 9 a.m., Ohio State Highway Patrol said. Traffic on northbound I-71 is being diverted at Ohio 123. Motorists are able to get back on the interstate at Ohio 73 in Clinton County, troopers said.

Downed power lines closed a road in Swatara Township in Lebanon County for more than an hour after an SUV crashed into a utility pole earlier Wednesday, state police said.

Neither the 17-year-old female driver nor the 16-year-old male passenger of the 1998 Ford Ranger were seriously injured in the crash, which police said took place around 9 a.m. Wednesday in the 500 block of Greble Road in Lebanon.

An explosion has been reported at the Gill Rock Drill Company in Lebanon.

One person was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries, according to a Lebanon County 911 dispatcher. The drill company is located in the 900 block of Cornwall Road.

The explosion was reported at 8:58 a.m. There was no other information immediately available.

State Road 39 re-opened in Boone County Friday morning following a crash.

The crash involved multiple vehicles.

Around 7:20 a.m., SR 39 was closed between Blubaugh Avenue and 800 North due to the crash. About an hour later, it was back open.

The Sheriff's Office reported someone was injured, but the extent of those injuries wasn't immediately known.

New Hampshire State Police report two people were killed Saturday afternoon in a crash on Interstate 89 in Lebanon.

The victims’ names have not been released.

A driver traveling south between Exit 18 and Exit 19 lost control and crossed center median into the northbound lanes, hitting another vehicle, the state police said.

The right travel lane of the northbound side of the highway has been closed for several hours.
