Coushatta man dies after head-on crash with another vehicle

The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Louisiana State Police, in a news release, said troopers responded to a head-on crash on Highway 1, about a mile north of Highway 177, at about 6:46 a.m. Miller was airlifted to University Health Medical Center and remains in critical condition. Mancil was pronounced dead at the scene by the Red River Parish coroner. A preliminary investigation shows that a 2002 Ford truck driven by 29-year-old Joseph Miller of Bossier City was traveling south on Highway 1 when he apparently crossed the center line and collided with a northbound 1998 Pontiac Sunfire driven by 58-year-old Carl Mancil, of Coushatta.

It has been a year ago and this guy has multiple driving offenses and still driving around while the mancil family is suffering. He will get off again to drive and possibly kill someone else. Why why does he deserve to get a slap on his hand.
