FHP: Man killed on Mobile Highway - WEAR - ABC

ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. (WEAR) A 25-year-old Pensacola pedestrian was killed by a vehicle in Escambia County Saturday night.The crash happened on Mobile Highway and Cherokee Trail around 9:46 p.m.The Florida Highway Patrol Reports Jeremy Gould was in the path of a Dodge Magnum driven by a 36-year-old person identified as Jermel.According to the FHP's investigation, the driver was traveling northbound in the left through lane and wasn't able to avoid hitting Gould, who was in the road. The driver sustained minor injuries.Escambia County emergency crews responded to scene and provided medical attention to Gould, but the man died on the scene from his injuries.Charges are pending further investigation by the FHP.
