Passenger dies after family accident on Beltway

One person died after a two-vehicle crash on the 215 Beltway near South Decatur Boulevard Saturday night, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol. A Toyota Camry traveling west on the Beltway rear-ended a Mercedes-Benz. The female front-seat passenger of the Toyota was pronounced dead at the scene. The male and female passengers were taken to University Medical Center in critical condition.

Second woman dies following Saturday night crash

A second person is dead following a Saturday night, two-vehicle crash on the 215 Beltway. Preliminary investigation revealed that about 7 p.m. Saturday, a white 1996 Toyota Camry was westbound on the Beltway east of Decatur Boulevard, traveling in the right lane behind a blue 2003 Mercedes E320.

Authorities ID 2 women killed in crash while following relatives

Twenty-one-year-old passenger Miriah Ashley Weaver of Black Creek, Wisconsin died at the scene, while 58-year-old passenger Patricia Tucker of Las Vegas died of her injuries at University Medical Center.

The people in the two cars are family members on their way home, Nevada Highway Patrol trooper Loy Hixson said.
