I love you Uncle. Miss you more than words can express.

Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope.  For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. (1 Thessalonians 4:13-14)

I was a childhood friend of Darrell we both lived on Lorwy together we go back atleast 38 years l saw him a couple of years ago we talked shortly exchanged numbers l will always remember that southern slang he talk Rest In Peace my friend  you are in Gods arms now

When I find out about any kind of service or gathering for Darrell I will post it I live next door to Darrell we have known him for 10 + year miss you

I never met Darrell but my mother in law Jeana who posted above was very close to him and I heard a lot of good things about him. Darrell use to come by on his motorcycles and be a regular at wing stop next to my business At the Beach on Cedar. I saw Darrell in his last minutes left on earth. He was at Wing Stop having dinner with a friend and they sat outside and had visted for a while. He kept looking over here I think to see if Jeana was working but she wasn't. We hadn't seen him in about a week maybe more so when I saw him I took a picture of him and send it to Jeana saying "Look who showed up today & your not here." He was wearing of course black and he was representing the legalization of Mary Jane in CO by wearing a Marijuana Leaf motorcycle cap/ bandana. As he was leaving he had a slight pause and hard time starting up the bike and getting it off the kick stand. I had two little girls in my lobby waiting for their mom while she tanned that were in complete awe as he revved his engine really loud and before I knew it he took off. Darrell was hit and killed minutes after I saw him pulling out my parking lot. It was so fast and it was like a blink of an eye and he was gone. I saw on the news about an hour later of the accident and I saw the bike in the picture and my hair stood up on my entire body. I had Jeana reach out to him and got no answer time after time. We were 90% sure it was him and we waited and waited for days till his identity was released. Those few days were so hard on us all including Jeana. I can't begin to imagine how his family and close friends are feeling during this time. I wanted to share this with you all that in his last few minutes of life he was smiling and seemed to have had a great time at dinner. I hope this can ease any sort of pain you all are feeling at this time & I want you all to know that you are in my thoughts and my prayers. The lord called Darrell home that night for a plan that we will all know when it's our turn to be called home. He is looking down over you all. To his daughter, his family, and his close friends you just gain the best Guardian Angel who will always be with you through your dreams, your thoughts, and will forever be in your heart. He is up there right now riding his motorcycle and in no pain. May you rest in peace Darrell and to your family my deepest condolences. You will be forever missed and thought about.

Thank you!...on behalf of Darrell's family.  Your comments of Darrell's smile has brought forth comfort. God Bless!

For anyone who would like to post a condolence message or share a memory for Darrell, there is an online memorial service currently active at www.taylormortuary.com.  Darrell will always be loved and forever missed. RIP

I wonder if anyone still checks for Darrell. I wonder if anyone will see this post. I miss my uncle. I understood him - never judged him based off other's opinions. I understand he has a daughter, but none of his family has ever met her, or knows how to get a hold of her. If anyone sees this post and knows who she is, please have her email me at agaynor7009@gmail.com.  much appreciated!
