Meghan Harrison 29, Michael Finn 39, injured, one man killed, after head-on wrong way crash on northbound State Route 7.
One person was killed and two injured after a head-on crash caused by a wrong-way driver on northbound Route 7 in Brookfield late Thursday, state police said.
The wrong-way driver, later identified as Alejandro Miranda 44, was killed and two passengers in a Jeep were injured and taken to Danbury Hospital for treatment. Both vehicles were destroyed. The crash was reported at 11:46 p.m. Thursday.
Those injured were identfied as Michael Finn, 39, of Brookfield, and Meghan Harrison, 29, of New Milford.
State police did not release the identity of the man killed in the crash, pending notification of next of kin. They did say he was from Ansonia.

Alejandro Apodaca, 34, died after the car he was driving collided with a tree in Spokane Valley late Thursday, the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office said.
Apodaca was identified by the Spokane County Medical Examiner’s Office. His death has been ruled an accident.
The Nissan Altima that Apodaca was driving was traveling south on Bowdish Road near 17th Avenue and left the street, colliding with the tree around 11:55 p.m. Thursday, Spokane County Sheriff’s Deputy Mark Gregory said.
A bicyclist died Sunday night when a car hit him as he tried to cross a darkened street in north Harris County.
The incident occurred about 9:30 p.m. in the 2600 block of West Mount Houston near Big John, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies said Alejandro Benito was riding a bicycle as he tried to cross the road, failing to yield the right of way to a 2008 Chevrolet Impala traveling westbound. The road was dark at the time of the crash and the bicycle had no lights.
Benito died at the scene.
Two Needville high school students died and a third was hurt when a dump truck collided with a car in Ft. Bend County Friday.
It happened around 4:40pm on FM 762 and LW Cumings. The sheriff's office says a car carrying three teens took a curve too fast and hit the back of the truck.
The car driver and rear passenger were killed, a second passenger was hospitalized.
The teens who died have been identified as 18-year-olds Wilmer Rodriguez and Alejandro Lopez. The name of the third victim has not yet been released.
Alabama Department of Public Safety officials say a Theodore woman has died in a three-car crash on Alabama 217.
Sgt. Steve Jarrett says 24-year-old Miranda Hamilton was killed when the pickup truck she was driving was hit by a Dodge Ram and overturned near Semmes.
Authorities say Hamilton wasn't wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, and the accident is under investigation.
Semmes is about 15 miles northwest of Mobile.
