The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating after a woman in a car stopped on Interstate 95 early Saturday morning was hit by another vehicle, ejected and then struck by two other vehicles that kept going.

Troopers say a vehicle driven by 25-year-old Kimberly Gillespie was was stopped in a center northbound lane of I-95 just before 8th Street for an unknown reason.

One person killed, after a tractor-trailer collides with a car, which then catches fire, on Highway 60 East in Lake Wales.

Polk County Sheriff's Office is investigating a fatal crash on Highway 60 East, between 630 East and Grape Hammock Road, in Lake Wales.

The crash happened just before 2:30 p.m. Thursday when a semi-tractor trailer heading eastbound collided with a Mercedes which was heading westbound.

Amber Hope, 30 killed, after she loses control of her SUV on Satellite Road in Cocoa, crashes into a ditch and overturns, before striking a tree.

A 30-year-old Cocoa woman was killed when her SUV crashed overnight.

Florida Highway Patrol troopers said Amber Hope was driving a 2000 Chevrolet Tahoe south on Satellite Boulevard when she lost control near Breckinridge Avenue. The intersection is in a residential area north of State Road 520 in Cocoa. The crash occurred about midnight.

Zackery Alan Conrad, killed, after his car crosses the center line on South Airport Road near Milton, and crashes into a embankment.

According to Florida Highway Patrol reports, Zackery Alan Conrad was traveling west on South Airport Road Thursday morning when he crossed the center dividing line and entered the south ditch.

Reports said the front left of Conrad's vehicle struck the embankment as it entered the ditch and came to rest on the south side of the road facing west.

He was pronounced deceased on scene according to the reports.

William R. Fowler II, 65, killed, two students and two coaches suffer minor injuries, taken to hospital, after their Florida High School bus is struck by a car, driven by, Sarah M. Walker, 25, who was arrested for DUI, at an intersection in Tallahassee.

The bus was quiet as the Florida High track and field team slept on its return trip from Thursday night’s region track meet in Jacksonville.

Minutes earlier, as the bus exited I-10 into Tallahassee, Seminoles coach Tyrone McGriff and his assistants started to wake up players.

They telephoned their families to let them know the bus would soon arrive at the Florida High campus. Many drifted back to sleep.

A male motorcyclist suffered serious injuries after being hit by a car on Military Trail in Riviera Beach Thursday afternoon, according to Riviera Beach Police Department.

Police say the motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital as a trauma victim and three people in the car were evaluated at the scene.

Military Trail Southbound will be closed from Beeline Highway to Canterbury Drive pending conclusion of the police investigation.

Vickie Matthews, 74, Encarnacion Hodges, 84, Kevin Douylliez, 54, seriously injured, all transported to hospital, after a car, traveling on the wrong side of Highway 17, near Green Cove Springs, collides with another vehicle.

Three people sustained serious injuries after a crash in Clay County, where the Florida High Patrol said one driver was traveling on the wrong side of the road.

According to an FHP report, the crash happened Wednesday around 9:45 p.m. on Highway 17 near County Road 209.

A Honda Civic driven by 54-year-old Kevin Douylliez was traveling southbound on Highway 17, when a Volkswagen Beetle, traveling on the wrong side of the road, collided into the Honda, according to FHP.

Megan Marie Wyche, 29, killed, after her car, traveling at high speed, leaves the northbound I-75 roadway near Alachua, overturning multiple time before crashing into a fence.

A 29-year-old woman died in a crash on I-75 in Alachua County on Wednesday night.

Megan Marie Wyche was driving northbound on the interstate, just north of Alachua, at a high rate of speed, according to the Florida Highway Patrol report.

Witnesses reported she was driving well over 90 mph and in a "reckless manner," according to troopers.

Wyche lost control while making a slight curve, causing her vehicle to abruptly swerve into the grassy shoulder.

Linda Sala, 63, killed, Carl Sala, 63, critically injured, transported to hospital, after their car sideswipes another vehicle on Hoffner Avenue near Orlando, and then crashes into a brick wall.

A 63-year-old woman was killed and her husband was injured when their Toyota Camry crashed into a brick wall following a hit-and-run accident in Orlando, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The fatal crash happened Tuesday night on Hoffner Avenue near La Belle Street in Orange County.

According to troopers, 63-year-old Carl Sala sideswiped a Toyota Corolla but continued traveling and later flipped the car, which crashed into the wall.

James Bare III, 37, killed, after he is struck by a train near Belleview in Marion County.

A Belleview man, who was walking on railroad tracks as a train barreled toward him, was killed Monday morning, Marion County deputies say.

The deadly crash happened about 11 a.m. as 37-year-old James Bare III was walking south in the middle of the track as a train was moving northbound.

The train conductor told deputies he saw Bare walking on the tracks and sounded the horn several times to try to get the man's attention and warn him to get off the tracks.
