Kelly, 44, her husband, Michael Kelly, 71, and her two sons were traveling northbound on County Road 1, troopers said. After being hit, the Ford rotated counter-clockwise and overturned, troopers said.
A Nissan Frontier driven by Jacob Frazier, 16, was traveling northbound on US-17 in the left lane. A Toyota Camry driven by Betty Wells, 83, was stopped in the left lane of US-17 northbound. The Frontier swerved back to the left, colliding with its left front into the right rear of the Camry.
Police said the accident happened at the tracks near State Road 434 and State Road 427. Seminole County Fire officials said three people were in the truck. Officials said there were 188 people on the Amtrak train and there were no injuries.
Owens was walking in the center lane of U.S. 19 when he was struck by a car and killed. He was declared dead at the scene. The car was driven by Angel D. Hidalgo-Rivera, 26. There are no charges against him currently, and an alcohol test is pending.
Harrell was airlifted to Blake Medical Center in Bradenton just after 2 am. after the incident, which occurred near the intersection of Higel Ave. and Cedar Park Circle. Fishburn was not injured, and he is facing one count of DUI with bodily injury and one count of DUI with property damage.
