Bianca Escobedo is killed when her car rear-ends another on S.R. 528.
A 23-year-old Kissimmee woman was killed Thursday morning in a crash on the Beachline in Orange County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers said Bianca Escobedo died in the crash, which occurred around 3 a.m. on S.R. 528 near State Road 520.
According to the FHP, Escobedo was driving a 2010 four-door Nissan westbound on S.R. 528 when, for an unknown reason, she struck the rear of a 1997 GMC pickup truck driven by 38-year-old Jared Allison, of Cocoa.
The crash sent Escobedo's car off the road, and the vehicle struck a tree, troopers said. She was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center and later was pronounced dead.
The pickup overturned, but Allison only suffered minor injuries, troopers said.
