Two men injured in boating accident near Boynton Inlet

Witnesses told responding emergency crews that it appeared the boat the struck the bridge, ejecting the occupants in the inlet. The boat reportedly sank about 400 yards west of the bridge, Borroto said.

Palm Beach County Fire Rescue Capt. Al Borroto said they got a call at about 6:50 p.m. on Tuesday about a boating accident at the Boynton Inlet. Two people were in the water on the west side of the bridge and the damaged boat was heading toward the Intracoastal Waterway, he said.
The man who sustained more serious injuries was taken to the trauma center at Delray Medical Center.
