57-year-old man killed, after his car is rear-ended by another vehicle, driven by Eduardo Medina, 44, who was arrested for DUI and other charges, at the intersection of John Young Parkway and Deerfield Court near Orlando.

Florida Highway Patrol troopers said they arrested a man who caused a DUI accident that resulted in a fatality.

Troopers said they responded to an accident at John Young Parkway and Deerfield Court around 2:04 a.m. Saturday.

Troopers said 44-year-old Eduardo Medina was traveling south on John Young Parkway behind another car.

Troopers said the light turned red, and the other drivers slowed to stop, but Medina continued at the same rate of speed, hitting another driver.

Troopers said that driver, a 57-year-old man from St. Cloud, was pushed into two other cars and was killed.

Troopers said the other drivers were not injured and Medina was arrested for DUI manslaughter and vehicular homicide.

Troopers said Medina was taken to the Orange County Jail where he will face a judge.
