Woman, Two Children Identified in I-10 Fatal Accident

The impact pushed the Impala over the median of I-10 and into the westbound lanes and into the path of a semi truck.

Three people are dead after they crashed head on with a semi truck Tuesday afternoon.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, 64-year-old Diane Downey, and two children, an 8-year-old and a 10-year-old, were all killed in this accident.

Downey was driving a 2007 Chevy Impala on eastbound I-10 just west of the 214 mile marker. According to FHP, a woman driving a Honda Accord collided with the Impala just around just before 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The impact pushed the Impala over the median of I-10 and into the westbound lanes and into the path of a semi truck.

33-year-old Cassandra Robles was driving the Accord and had a one-year old child in the car. They were both listed has not being injured.

27-year-old Denis Makori was driving the truck and also had a 4-year-old child with him. Makori suffered minor injures and was taken to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. The child was uninjured.
