Honolulu man dies after motorcycle accident in Aiea, speed may be a factor

Official say the victim was traveling east on Kamehameha Highway near Arizona Street around 1:30 a.m., when he allegedly lost control of his motorcycle, collided into a metal guard rail and was ejected from his seat.

It happened about 1:30 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of Kamehameha Highway and Arizona Street.
A 46-year-old Honolulu man is dead after an early morning motorcycle collision in Aiea Sunday. The victim sustained major injuries to his lower torso, according to police officials. Officials say speed may have been a factor, however, it is unknown if alcohol was also a factor.
