A 33-year-old man has died after he crashed his motorcycle in Haleiwa in the early hours on Saturday. The Honolulu Medical Examiner's office identified the victim as 33-year-old Christopher Danley of Honolulu. Emergency crews responded just before 1 a.m. According to police, the man lost control of his motorcycle when turning from Weed Circle Junction onto Kamehameha Highway, where he hit a guard rail and landed in nearby bushes. Investigators say he was not wearing a helmet, and speed and alcohol may have been factors in the crash.
