A 31-year-old Nampa man has died after colliding with a car while driving his motorcycle Thursday morning.

Chad Draggett died at the St. Alphonsus Hospital in Nampa shortly after the crash.

He was reportedly driving his 2000 Suzuki motorcycle near the intersection of Robinson Road and Willow Avenue around 7:15 a.m. when the incident happened.

Idaho State Police say he collided with a 30-year-old Nampa man who was driving a 1998 Ford Escort. Officers believe Draggett was driving northbound on Robinson Road while the driver of the Ford Escort was driving southbound.

The crash happened as the driver of the Ford Escort turned left onto Willow Avenue and Draggett's motorcycle collided with it.

Draggett was taken to the hospital via ground ambulance. Police say he was wearing a helmet.

An Idaho man died in a traffic crash during a heavy rainstorm Thursday near Wellington.

Jack Le Roy Seiber, 22, was driving a Ford Escort west on State Road 6 in Carbon County about 3 p.m. when an eastbound Toyota 4Runner lost control and crashed into Seiber’s Escort, Utah Highway Patrol reported.

Seiber, of Blackfoot, Idaho, died.

The driver of the 4Runner was not injured, but two passengers were taken to a hospital; they were expected to survive, according to police reports.

Drugs and alcohol are not believed to be factors.

A 72-year-old Payette woman driving with her adult granddaughter slammed into a Nampa Verizon store Wednesday afternoon, injuring several and sending two to the hospital.

The Nampa Police Department says the woman was parking her car when she accidentally hit the gas instead of the brake, sending her car more than halfway into the store.

A 57-year-old Boise man died when the motorcycle he was driving went off the road and crashed in a ditch in northern Idaho.

The Idaho State Police identified the victim as Gerald V. Wilburn.

It says the crash occurred about 7:50 p.m. Friday on U.S. 12 in Idaho County near the Apgar Campground.

Wilburn was traveling alone.

Authorities in Baltimore County say a motorcycle driver from Pennsylvania is dead after a crash in Maryland.

Officials say the crash happened around 2 p.m. Saturday in the area of Old York Road and Lentz Road in Parkton. Authorities say an initial investigation found the motorcycle was driving eastbound on Old York Road when it struck the back of a 2014 Ford Escort that had stopped to make a left turn. The motorcycle then traveled onto westbound Old York Road and was struck by a 2014 Honda CR-V.

An officer spotted the vehicle speeding and swerving. Hensley did not pull over, and the pursuit lasted until the truck crashed, where it became badly damaged. He took off on foot, but was caught by police not far away. Hensley will face charges when he is released from the hospital.

A Post Falls man died Thursday morning in a head-on collision on U.S. Highway 95 south of Sandpoint.

Darrel C. Kirking, 61, was pronounced dead at the scene, the Idaho State Police reported.

Barbara A. Farrington, 70, of Thompson Falls, Mont., was headed south on Highway 95 around 7:30 a.m. when her 2003 Ford Focus crossed into the northbound lane and collided with Kirking’s 1999 Ford Escort, the ISP said.

Kirking was wearing a seat belt.

Farrington, who was not wearing a seat belt, was injured and taken to Kootenai Medical Center.
