Car slams into school bus on west side.

Officials with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department confirm a school bus and a passenger vehicle were involved in a crash Friday afternoon.
Officials with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department confirm a school bus and a passenger vehicle were involved in a crash Friday afternoon. The incident occurred around 4:30 p.m. near the Sam Jones Expressway and Bradbury Avenue. IMPD dispatchers confirm a vehicle hit the back of the school bus and then went underneath the bus. Officials say the driver of the car was trapped. No students were on the bus at the time of the crash. Three people were transported to area hospitals after the crash.
