Emergency responders were called to the scene of a second JCPS bus crash Friday morning.
Emergency responders were called to the scene of a second JCPS bus crash Friday morning. One Waggener High School student was transported to a hospital, complaining of a neck injury after bus #0690 was sideswiped by a car at Shelbyville Road and Bramton Road around 6:30 a.m. The other 25 people aboard the bus refused treatment. Another JCPS bus crash around the same time Friday morning sent a handful of children to Kosair Children's Hospital with bumps and bruises. JCPS bus #1347 transporting students from Frost Middle School was hit by a car that ran a stop sign at 35th and Del Park Terrace. The driver of the car was uninjured.
