Brian Stockstill, 36, Creig Broussard, 53, killed, after their two pickup's collide head-on near New Iberia on Louisiana 182.
Two people were killed Tuesday night in a head-on crash on La. 182 in Iberia Parish, State Police said.
Creig Broussard, 53, of St. Martinville, was driving a 2000 Chevrolet truck west on La. 182 when he crossed the center line and crashed into an eastbound 2004 GMC truck driven by Brian Stockstill, 36, of New Iberia, a StateTrooper 1st Class said in a release.
Hammons said there were no passengers in the vehicles.
Both men, who were wearing their seat belts, were pronounced dead at the scene by an official with the Iberia Parish Coroner’s Office.
Police said investigators do not know why Broussard ran into the opposite lane on the two-lane highway or if alcohol impairment was a factor.
Toxicology samples were sent to the State Police Crime Lab for analysis.
