State troopers investigating fatal accident in Lafourche Parish

A Raceland man died Wednesday evening in Lafourche Parish when his vehicle struck a tree off Louisiana Highway 182 near Bayou Folse Road.
A Raceland man died Wednesday evening in Lafourche Parish when his vehicle struck a tree off Louisiana Highway 182 near Bayou Folse Road. Percy Hills, 44, was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from his 2008 Chevrolet Malibu around 9 p.m. after failing to navigate a curve in the road. Louisiana State Police are investigating the accident and toxicology tests are pending. Paramedics transported Hills to St. Anne General Hospital, in Raceland, where he died of his injuries.
