According to police, Austin Donovan Hall, 17, of Brookeville, was the driver. Maxwell Elliott Dechter, 17, of Silver Spring was in the front passenger seat and Shawn Richard Gangloff, 15, was sitting in back. Gangloff was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, Hall and Dechter with serious injuries.
A 17-year-old pedestrian was hit by a car on Route 124 at Watkins Road at the border of Gaithersburg and Damascus in Maryland. Rescue crews initially waited for a helicopter to airlift her from the scene, but later decided to transport her by ground ambulance.
A Mount Airy man suffering a medical emergency that caused him to lose control of the vehicle and crash into a tree on Baltimore National Pike. His vehicle caught fire. No one else was injured. Police said Stanley did not appear to have been drinking and was wearing his seat belt.
Kevin Roger Kanke, 52, was killed when his motorcycle collided with a Silver Infiniti QX4 on Brink Road. Sunday the Infiniti crossed into the westbound lanes and struck a black Harley Davidson motorcycle. Police said they did not know why the car had crossed the double yellow lane markings.
Authorities in Baltimore County say a motorcycle driver from Pennsylvania is dead after a crash in Maryland.
Officials say the crash happened around 2 p.m. Saturday in the area of Old York Road and Lentz Road in Parkton. Authorities say an initial investigation found the motorcycle was driving eastbound on Old York Road when it struck the back of a 2014 Ford Escort that had stopped to make a left turn. The motorcycle then traveled onto westbound Old York Road and was struck by a 2014 Honda CR-V.
