State Police received calls about the collision at about 12:30 p.m. and rushed to the scene, said police.

The two occupants of the ATV reported serious injuries and will be taken to the hospital, said Nolan.

The driver of the snow plow did not report any injuries, he said.

State Police will investigate the cause of the accident. It is unclear if the snowplow was a state-owned or privately owned vehicle, said police.

A state snow plow was involved in a fatal traffic collision Tuesday near Cripple Creek.

The crash involving the snow plow and another vehicle happened on Colorado 67, said a Colorado Department of Transportation spokeswoman.

The person who died in the incident is not the snow plow driver, but was in the other vehicle, Ford said.

The Colorado State Patrol is on scene investigating.

The crash happened at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday about 12 miles south of Divide, state patrol Capt. Charles Cargin told the Gazette.

Police say a driver is dead and a passenger injured after a car collided with a state Transportation Department snowplow in Newburgh.

Police say the driver of a car lost control on a slippery hill on Western Avenue at about 9 p.m. Wednesday. It was snowing at the time. Trooper Douglas Franklin the car crossed the center line and struck the plow, despite efforts by the plow driver to move out of the way.

The driver of the car was identified as 24-year-old Anthony Takacs. A female passenger suffered minor injuries. The plow driver was unhurt.

All southbound lanes of Interstate 55 were shut down at Bayless for several hours after a snow plow slammed into a tanker truck Tuesday morning.

Officials say a Missouri Department of Transportation plow truck was changing lanes on the interstate to exit at Bayless when it collided with a tanker truck around 4:30 a.m.

The plow punctured the tanker, causing an estimated 19,000 gallons of fuel to spill onto the roadway.

All southbound I-55 traffic was diverted to Weber. Officials said the highway would be closed until about 12 p.m.

No injuries were reported.

State police have released the names of the western Massachusetts couple whose 5-year-old daughter was killed when their minivan rear-ended a snow plow on an upstate New York road.

Troopers say Friday that the van was being driven by 56-year-old Ronald Baron of South Egremont, Mass. The van slammed into the back of a Town of Hillsdale plow truck Wednesday night on Route 23 in Columbia County, on the Massachusetts border.

The Ohio County Sheriff's Office has released the identity of the man killed after his car collided with a snow plow in Ohio County.

According to the Sheriff's Office, just before six Sunday night dispatchers received a call about a two vehicle accident involving a KYTC snow plow and a black Honda at the intersection of US 231 south and Lee Drive in Cromwell.

A Massachusetts woman and her daughter and a Florida woman were killed in a crash in western New Hampshire.

State Police say 54-year-old Mary Newton of Greenfield, Massachusetts, was driving west on Route 9 in Stoddard on Saturday afternoon when her car crossed into the eastbound lane and crashed head-on with a recreational vehicle. Newton and her 16-year-old daughter were killed, as was a passenger in the RV, 68-year-old Dulce Marie Campo Perez of West Melbourne, Florida.

The driver of the RV was seriously injured.

The crash remains under investigation.

Police in Pittsfield, N.H., say four high school students in a pickup truck have been injured after the vehicle collided with a plow truck.

Police stated that it appears the plow truck was backing out into the road Friday when the accident happened.

One of the teens had to be pried form the pickup. All four were taken to Concord Hospital, but police said the injuries did not appear to be serious.

The plow truck driver was not injured.

Police said they’re still investigating the crash.
