Natick police are searching for the operator of a truck involved in a hit-and-run accident with an ambulance Monday afternoon, police said.
Natick police are searching for the operator of a truck involved in a hit-and-run accident with an ambulance Monday afternoon, police said. A Natick Fire Department ambulance was parked outside a residence on Rockland Street at about 2:30 p.m., responding to a call, when a red pickup truck hit the vehicle. The driver then allegedly sped away, said a fire department dispatcher. “Thankfully no one was inside the ambulance,” said the dispatcher. “Everyone was okay.” The ambulance suffered minor damage, and EMS workers were able to transport the Rockland Street resident to the hospital without incident, said the dispatcher.
