I have tried every attorney available to me in Michigan and every one of them refuse to help but recommend me to continue to look before the statute of limitations runs out. I am desperate for help. 3 Amazing children died that die, not just my son. They insinuated that my son was a criminal. He has never been arrested nor has he been in trouble a day in his short life. I had to remove his hat the day of his funeral so they could close the casket and observed knuckle marks on both sides of his head. Bruising can occur after death it is a proven fact. I was told my son was trapped in the vehicle and I truly believe 1 of the officers were hitting my son while he was in the car. I had to identify my sons body twice before I was allowed to plan his funeral. Also he was 17 so he should have been taken to Children's Hospital along with the girls but was taken to receiving instead. Police had him down as John Doe. I was notified of the accident by my eldest son who was driving to work at 3:30am. When I arrived at the scene an officer rudely informed me that my son was gone and he had his phone in his possession. My son did not die at the scene. If I would have been notified, like they should have done I would have been able to inform them that my son had an allergy to the medication used to numb the area while giving a trache. Instead of numbing a local muscle it caused all his muscle to relax and stop functioning. The heart, brain, liver, and kidneys all shut down resulting in his death. He had a minor head injury and a fractured leg. I read the medical report and the hospital made several mistakes, and the autopsy was wrong. It said his left leg was fractured and it was his right. I feel since it was a police involved incident that they are trying to cover for one another and these children have died due to police brutality.

Sorry for your loss and I understand you want to blame someone besides the kids but kids make mistakes, sometimes really bad ones that get themselves and other hurt.  Without going into detail there are some medical issues you don't understand and you need to have someone  with trauma care experience explain in detail all the elements of the ER reports and the autopsy so you can understand why he died - you deserve that.   Again, I hope you can understand all the issues fully so that you can somehow have some peace.
