hree people were ejected from their horse-drawn buggy after it was rear-ended by a vehicle, police said. The buggy was traveling east on Fawn River Road west of S. Centreville Road in Sturgis Township in St. Joseph County around 3:30 p.m. Thursday. A Chrysler station wagon was traveling behind the horse and buggy but the car driver did not see the buggy and struck it, police said. The buggy occupants were transported to a hospital.
