Halber was pinned in the car. Rescue crews cut away the wreckage to free him. He suffered a broken pelvis, hip and a brain bleed. Gosch suffered a punctured elbow and a concussion.
Two teenagers were seriously injured in a West Omaha traffic accident Friday afternoon. The victims are identified as 16-year-old Aaron Gosch and 16-year-old Thomas Halber. Gosch was driving northbound on Bob Boozer Boulevard shortly before 5 p.m. when he lost control of the car and partially left the roadway. The vehicle slid sideways and hit a guard rail. Gosch was cited for Failure to Maintain Lane and for a Fixed Object Collision.
